Advocacy Service Aberdeen provides an independent advocacy service for victims of domestic abuse. Clients can self-refer to seek the assistance of a Domestic Abuse Advocate or be referred by a professional they are working with to assist them in relation to specific issues.
ASA is a local charity which provides this free service for people in the city of Aberdeen. This means that they are not part of the NHS, Aberdeen City Council or any other service provider. Their service is free and confidential and all staff and volunteers work to The Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance’s (SIAA) Principles and Standards and Code of Practice.
