International Students and NRPF Sub-group

Aberdeen welcomes students from all over the world and, for most of them, their years spent in Aberdeen are enjoyable and without hardship. However situations can arise which mean students can struggle financially or have problems with housing etc. Their student visa may state ‘no recourse’ and then they may have difficulty accessing the support they need.

Our partnership has a sub-group of concerned organisations, which meet every month by Teams to share knowledge and best practice, and to work towards supporting students in crisis. Minutes and shared information from these meetings are available via the link below.
